First Observed Interaction of the Circumstellar Envelope of an S-star with the Environment of Sgr A*

Abstract Several publications highlight the importance of observations bow shocks to learn more about surrounding interstellar medium and radiation field. We revisit most prominent dusty gaseous shock source, X7, close supermassive black hole, Sgr A*, using multiwavelength analysis. For purpose this study, we use Spectrograph for Integral Field Observations in Near Infrared (SINFONI) ( H + K -band) NACO L ?- M ?-band) data sets between 2002 2018 with additional COMIC/ADONIS+RASOIR 7 COME-ON-PLUS Camera/Adaptive Optics System Renouveau de l’Analyseur Surface d’Onde InfraRouge 1999. By analyzing line maps SINFONI, identify a velocity ?200 km s ?1 from tip tail. Furthermore, combination SINFONI -, ?-, ?-bands results two-component blackbody fit that implies X7 is dust-enshrouded stellar object. The observed ongoing elongation orientation Br ? ?-band continuum indicate wind arising at position A* or IRS16 complex. after 2010 show dust gas shell seems be decoupled projection its source S50. also tail thermally heats up due presence emission excited because related forward scattering (Mie scattering), which will continue influence shape near future. In addition, find [Fe iii ] lines, together recently analyzed sources -bar underline uniqueness source.
